Both students and parents are encouraged to attend a family night with Project SUCCESS. Project SUCCESS, a youth development organization working at Ramsey this year, will lead our parents and students in interactive workshops to facilitate discussion about dreams and goals and how these discussions help provide a framework for success in school.
Parent Workshop: "My kid is changing, how can I support them?"
This workshop is designed to help parents navigate through this intense time of teenage brain development and provide guidance on how parents and teens can best communicate with each other. We will discuss how to support your young adults as they develop and discover the importance of having both short- and long-term goals to succeed in school.
Student Workshop: "How do I share with my parents what SUCCESS looks like to me?"
We will conduct an activity that asks Ramsey students to think about the questions, "Who am I?", "What are my dreams?" and "How do I communicate my dreams and hopes for my future with my parents?"
Please join us Tuesday, October 11 at 6:30 pm.
