I have taught middle school science in the Minneapolis Public Schools since 1999 and joined the Ramsey staff in 2013.  I am a graduate of Minneapolis South High School, Stanford University (BS degree in Biology), and the University of California, Los Angeles (Master of Education degree). My teaching licenses include 5-8 General Science and 9-12 Biology.

Students in my classes are actively engaged in daily hands-on lab activities.  If you would like to see a "sample" day in my classroom, follow this link to the November, 2011 episode of "School Matters," producted by MPS. The clip is about 2 minutes into the program and lasts about 2 minutes.

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, biking, cooking, and cross country skiing with my family and friends.

Please use the links to the right on this page and this link to MyMPS to access more specific information about my courses at Ramsey.
